The carnival party was so much to plan! But if your not careful it can get very expensive! I found some creative and cheap ways to make it still feel like a carnival! I had this piece of plywood in the garage for some reason and decided to make it into the ticket booth. My husband did all of the cutting and assembly while I did the painting and decorating. As the kids came into the carnival they were greeted by the ticket booth worker who presented them with personalized bags that had plenty of tickets to use for all of the games.
We hired Mike the balloon man to make the kids whatever they asked for! You have probably seen him at Moe's on Family Night.
I found these bags on oriental Trading and used them for the popcorn!
The Popcorn machine was a BIG hit! We rented it from our local party store.
The kids also got to make their own pizzas!
One of the many games we had for the kids to play! Each booth had little trinket prices that I purchased on Oriental Trading as well.
Bean Bag Toss!
My husband made the cupcakes! I bought the clown face, hands and feet on ebay.
The Little Things
This blog is for all of you who are interested in the Birthday parties that I have thrown for my children. Some would say that I go ALL OUT for my kids parties, I think I just really LOVE to throw a good party! The Target dollar spot is usually my destination for great ideas especially when the items are on clearence for half off! I am very crafty and try to incorporate that into every party.

Mason's First Birthday....Baby Einstein
For the table decorations, I bought baby Einstein puppets at Target and then bought cone shape styrofoam to help them stand up. They made great center pieces!
The pinata I made myself! I started this crazy project at least 3 months before the party! I used large balloons and paper mache'd them and let them dry and cut out hole's to fit the next body piece into place. Inside of the caterpillar is a cardboard wrapping paper roll that helped keep it's shape.
